Architectural solutions.
The single-family house is designed with two volumes: one parallel to Matīsa Street, the other perpendicular, enclosing a courtyard. Both volumes are unified – at the same height with a double-sloped roof and finish, and they do not compete with each other. At the intersection of the volumes, there is an entrance to the building, providing easy access to all functional areas. The street-facing volume is intended for family bedrooms, bathrooms, and auxiliary spaces, while the central volume combines living spaces with the kitchen and dining area, connected to a spacious terrace. The living room volume is open to the roof structure, and the end wall is planned in glass. The street-facing volume, where smaller rooms are located, is designed at a height of 3 meters, creating a loft space.
